Update

Sorry I haven't updated as much as I'd like to :( Sadly, finals are coming up within this week & next week, so I'll only be able to schedule some posts throughout this time. Hope you all understand! 

Here's some nail mail that I recently received,

Deniz from Emerald Sparkled sent me TWELVE China Glazes from their Tis The Season Collection! Can you believe it?! I couldn't believe my eyes. Thank you so much for such a great opportunity and I'm definitely going to use them well this season! =)

The next nail mail I got is from a MUA swap with Alexis! China Glaze Rapture and Crystal Ball and she even threw in an extra, Joe Fresh Jade! I was so surprised and super excited because Jade is now my first Joe Fresh polish and I can't wait to try it out! <3 Thanks so much Alexis!

So first on the China Glaze Tis the Season is Cheers to You. Cheers to You is a silver foil. It's super bright and shimmery XD! The picture shows 2 coats of CTY and 1 coat of top coat. The application was soo smooth and easy! I could've gotten away with 1 coat of CTY but I decided to swatch with 2.

Perplex

Today, I have a nail polish that is recently popular because it's a VERY close dupe for the popular Chanel Paradoxal, which I still don't have yet. I picked it up today from a full display at Duane Reade near my work. I also picked up an extra bottle for my giveaway (I've decided to have it when I reach 300 followers). 

But here's my swatch of Revlon's Perplex which is a darkened plum gray with a purple shimmer. I've seen comparisons of the two and Perplex has more shimmer than Paradoxal so if you prefer less shimmer or "hidden" shimmer, you should go for Paradoxal but you don't need both. The swatch is 2 coats and 1 coat of Seche top coat. I absolutely love this color! I've been lemming Paradoxal so this is feeding my lemming :)

I'd like to say (again) that I will be holding a giveaway to celebrate for reaching 300 followers (when I reach 300 I will post up the giveaway). So, there will be only one prize and maybe a small second prize. But so far I only have one bottle of Revlon Perplex. All items in this giveaway will either be brand new and purchased by me, or has been swatched once. I hope no one will have a problem with that. :\

Catrice Week [Day 7]

Catrice Week Day 7. It's the last day of Catrice week, and like the first day, there will be 2 swatches in this post also. Just to fit all 9 of the ones in my collection that haven't been introduced onto the blog. :)

Catrice Sea of Green

medium green with matte finish. 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat (TC on index and ring fingers).

Catrice Sold Out Forever

mint jade green with green shimmer. 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. One of my favorites! It's said to be the 'dupe' or rather similar to the SOLD OUT, Chanel Jade (one of my biggest lemming!).

Catrice Week [Day 6]

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's having a good day so far. Today after my class, I'm stuck in the library because I was supposed to work but got someone to cover for me thinking my bf didn't have work. After I gave away the shift, I found out he has work & I told my parents I'd be at work so now I'm taking the time to study since final exams are coming! Oh no the horror! :( I must break into nerd mode. But I will be able to post tomorrow to finish off Catrice week but the posts will come out a little slowly after that. I have some recent mani's to show you and I'm trying to think creatively on new nail art for my mani's. Hopefully it'll come to me!

greyed blue with shimmer. 2 coats and 1 coat of top coat. Another one of my favorites because I feel like the shimmer makes it so different from other grays.

Catrice Week [Day 5]

Yesterday's hurricane weather let me stay home yesterday and I had so much sleep that my back was aching! :( I didn't know that sleeping too much could cause back pain! I was so in pain that I laid on my bed with more pillows behind me for the incline & laid my laptop on top of a styrofoam bottom that came with the laptop on top of my tummy to watch my dramas! (LOL). I knew that sleeping too much could cause headaches but back pain?! Anyways, my back is feeling much better now, although I woke up late for my class ^____^; and I was late for my second one but I still made it to that one since it's a review class!

Enough blabbering and here's Catrice Week Day 5.
